SUPPORT OUR SOLDIERS
ABF The Soldiers’ Charity is appealing for support for their annual Christmas Carol Service to be held this year at The Garrison Church of All Saints Aldershot on Saturday 14th December 2019 at 3.00pm.
For the nineteenth consecutive year Hart Male Voice Choir will lead the traditional congregational carols in addition to singing an entertaining selection of Christmas songs and Carols some specially arranged for them.
Special guests again this year will be Aldershot Military Wives Choir whose songs will remind us of the true spirit and fun of Christmas and the commitment our soldiers make to keep our world safe.
There will be special songs for the children including “Rudolph” and “Must Be Santa” and if the children join in and sing loudly, they will be rewarded by a visit from Santa Claus who will give each of them a small present.
ABF The Soldiers’ Charity was formed 75 years ago in 1944 to ensure that soldiers returning from the Second World War and campaigns such as D-Day were taken care of.
Just in the past year, The Soldiers’ Charity has provided support to around 70,000 British Army soldiers, veterans and their families in 68 countries across the globe as well as funding 92 other charities and organisations that help the Army family at large.
