The Assembly Rooms resounded to the powerful voices of Hart Male Voice Choir on Saturday 07 July. The concert raised over £1000 for the charity.
The large audience included people living with dementia and their carers and all joined in enthusiastically in the second half as the choir’s musical director, Kevin Jacot, conducted everyone for numbers including “Country Roads” and “Amen”.

The varied programme of choral music, songs from musicals, hymns and pop meant there was something for everyone.
Singing as a group is known to broaden social networks and improve physical and mental health through improved breathing and posture and reduced muscle tension. The Hart Male Voice Choir rehearse every Wednesday evening in Odiham and are open to new members.
