Hart Male Voice Choir Chairman Eamonn O’Rourke and choir Social Secretary Andy McLaren organised a Gala Dinner on May 15 th to celebrate the choirs 50 th Anniversary.
Guests of honour were Dame Mary Fagan and TV Presenter and Gardener Alan Titchmarsh, who gave an after-dinner talk supporting the charity.
Eamonn’s son passed away aged 46 in 2022 as a result of a glioblastoma and during his illness was supported by The Brain Tumour Charity.
In 2022 Alan produced a video promoting a Hart Male Voice Choir concert “Sing for Hope” which raised nearly £4000 for the charity.
Alan again appealed for donations at the Gala dinner which raised £1169.
