Hart Male Voice Choir performed a fantastic concert at Christ Church, Church Crookham on Friday 2nd October to raise funds for the church and the Woman’s institute.
The choir sang in front of a packed audience who very much enjoyed the evenings entertainment. The concert was dedicated to the memory of Sue Foster BEM a valued supporter whose dedication, friendship and service has enriched our community and touched the lives of so many people.
The choir was delighted that Sue’s family was able to join us on what would have been Sue’s Birthday. The Choir sang a variety of songs including Kevin Matthews rousing Finiculi Funicula and Emily Hinchliff played a beautiful violin solo called Remembrances by John Williams.
The concert finished with the choir surrounding Sue’s family as they sang Gwyn Arch’s arrangement of The Rose.
The choir will now be preparing for our busy Christmas season and for our next concert on the 5th December in aid of the Army benevolent fund at the Garrison church of All Saints in Aldershot.
